Fix multi-block text selection logic with shift + click

Description

Text selection with Mouse and Keyboard doesn't select all the targeted text.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create new Post in a Publication
2. Create more than 2 paragraphs of text (in this example, I created 4)
3. Select all the text by pressing the shift key, then clicking before the first character and after the last character.

Expected Behaviour

All paragraphs should be selected.

Actual Behaviour

Only the first and last paragraphs are selected.

Environment

• OS: MacOS 15.6.1 (24G90)
• Browser: Chrome 140.0.7339.210 (Official Build) (arm64)

Got it! I haven't run into this personally b/c I just always to shift up/down (click + drag also works). I think it might be intended, to allow selected non-contiguous blocks, but tbh I personally never use that either. So I'm not sure if we call this one a bug but either way open to this change.

If that's right, I would suggest this is still a bug: non-contiguous selection with this method doesn't work either.

Also, I would say this goes against the 'common' ux pattern for keyboard selection:

• SHIFT + click OR SHIFT + arrow keys OR SHIFT + drag: selects a contiguous range (from your current focus to the next click/press).

• CTRL (Windows/Linux) OR CMD (MacOS) + click : toggles individual items, giving you non-contiguous, ad-hoc selections.

I was wrong here. It does work with non-contiguous selection.

Sounds good yeah I agree best to make shift-click contiguous and move the current (non-contiguous) select behavior to ctrl/cmd click!
