PCB fab?

Anyone has recommendation on best place to get PCB made? Any particular gotcha to look for? Is the bottom PCB required or just for mechanical purpose?

I got mine from jlcpcb, believe that the bottom layer is just to cut cost and avoid the need for a case.

Would love to hear what people did if they ordered their own PCB from a third party.

Ordered from JLCPCB, super simple. The bottom layer is indeed just a mechanical backplate, no traces.
