Compaq Portable III & 386 support for Plasma LCD replacement

Does the RGBtoHDMI project support the proprietary 640×400 CGA resolution used by the Compaq Portable 386 and III? If so, is there a pinout available for connecting the internal plasma display flat ribbon cable to the RGBtoHDMI, allowing a broken plasma LCD to be replaced with a standard LCD screen?
