Description
Describe the bug
I built the deb pkg for miteiru 5.12.0 and installed it, but there is only a black screen when playing the video.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Unpack source code, add
"homepage": "https://github.com/hockyy/miteiru/",intopackage.json - Unpack
public.zipintomiteiru/archived/ npm installnpm run script:initreponpm run build:linux22cd distsudo dpkg -i miteiru-5.12.0-linux-22.04-amd64.debmiteiru
Expected behavior
Case 1: That I could play an mkv video; however, the mkv video that contained several subs and audio didn't work. Sample video here.
Case 2: I tried a different mkv video from my blu-ray rip of a different anime; however, the audio doesn't work.
Case 3: It does work with mp4. Furthermore, while dragging the first set of JP subs into the window would display the JP subs properly, dragging the EN subs overwrites the JP subs instead of displaying in a separate lane. Also, the app has a bad habit of automatically selecting a language chosen from a previous session.
Case 4: I could not get more screenshots because I get an endless spam of errors...

Installation (step 3-4)

Installation (step 5-6)

Installation and Results (step 7-8)

Case 1: Running an MKV file containing several audio and subs. It auto-selected Chinese audio. The audio works, but the video is totally black without subs.

Case 2: Running a large (5.5GB) MKV file containing just 1 audio and 1 sub. Default sub is no sub, and it doesn't show in the video player. The default audio is JP, but I can't hear anything.

Case 3: Running an MP4 file with separate .srt JP and .ass EN subs. It shows from the checkmarks in the title that the application knows there is a CJK and an Other sub, but they latter overrides the CJK instead.

Case 4: Module Errors when running stuff again in the install from .deb
