Resolve long mouse events that lead to lags #184
Description
Related to #178, I've seen this issue repeatedly during development and I'm not sure what causes it.
Experience: I use the brush feature to select bars in the histogram and then there is a noticeable lag.
Error messages in the console say:
[Violation] 'mouseup' handler took 5903ms
event-contoller.ts:144
[Violation] Handling of 'mousewheel' input event was delayed for 5909 ms due to main thread being busy. Consider marking event handler as 'passive' to make the page more responsive.
