Chrome settings 'font size' dropdown blinking

After Fontier is used for changing the default font size, the native Chrome content settings/font setting drop down blinks, when selected and it won't change the font size at all. Instead it always shows 'Medium'.

My guessing is that it is probably caused by some inconsistency between the API and the browser.
