Core selection E-NE: adapt temperatures to core size?

Examples 1C, 5A and 5B involve parallel tempering and/or Metropolis searches. Since the expected deltas for the E-NE distance decrease when the core size increases, it might be appropriate to divide the temperatures by the core size. This can be checked in the context of example 5A and applied to examples 1C and 5B if successful.
