Check for empty and invalid email when adding new associated mailing list #324
Description
We are able to add (1) an empty associated mailing list and (2) a list email that isn't a valid one. As was mentioned in issue #323, we should be generous about what a valid email is to avoid real emails from being considered invalid.
In these cases, the feedback we get is 'success'. Instead, we can show an error message.
