ERROR! the role 'hashbangcode.tomcat' was not found

I have been having issues for a while creating a new vlad box on my Ubuntu 16.06 host.  I have tried with both dev and the most recent tag, and neither particularly seem to want to work.  I wonder if I am doing something wrong, or whether it just doesn't work with this version of my OS.

Thanks for any tips you can give on getting this running for me.
