Does this work with .itc files from Origin 7? It looks like chooser.py only evaluates .DH and .sedphat files.

Hi Roberto, Thanks for your interest. pytc does not read .itc files from origin. It needs the integrated heats saved out as .DH from the origin software. In our usual pipeline, we adjust our baselines etc., save the origin file, and then save out a .DH file for use in pytc. Is there something you hope to do with the .itc file that is not possible with the .DH file? Mike

Hi Mike, I'm having difficulty figuring out how to save the integrated heats as a .DH file from Origin 7. I've looked at the various tabs that appear when opening a .itc file, but no mention of a .DH file format appears. I was also hoping to do the baseline adjustments in pytc (or something else that is free) instead of Origin so that I can analyze my data at home during reduced lab operations due to COVID. I was able to export the Area Data as a .DH file. However, when I run pytc on my .DH file with 19 injections total, I receive an error that there are "WARNING:root:Too few points to create valid contours" even though there is a clear sigmoidal shape. Do you have any advice on how to improve the curve fitting?

in case there are still problems with the *.itc file, integration and analysis, I would like to draw attention to SupraFit (https://github.com/conradhuebler/SupraFit), that can deal with *.itc files and supports basic ITC analysis. Automatic cmd-line based *.itc file integration are also planned at some point in the future.
