Description

Build a script, validator environment that enables automated restaking and other validator changes to optimize returns. Couple ideas to make the tool more sophisticated:

• Auto add/remove BLS keys to optimize against median
• Auto claim & restake rewards
• Change commission based on the market dynamics

Prizes

Top 3 submissions will be eligible for prizes within Tier 1. The final prize will be decided by the Harmony engineering team. The judging criteria for the prizes are:

• Complexity of the tool/app built
• Resources required to build
• Usability, accessibility and stability

IMPORTANT NOTE: The prizes will be paid in native ONE tokens, the fiat value of prizes will change with token prices.

Our proposal would be a web-application from scratch, what makes it possible to control a validator remotely from a private dashboard hosted by the validator server.

that would be one solution, possibly the more used would be having these features as a running script that would automatically perform the action without user having to do it manually

Sure, the web-app control panel is just an additional option for the validator. The program should work automatically out of the box.

Got a little bit bored of just writing testing tools 😅, so set aside 1-2 hours as a little weekend project to make an auto-restaker: https://github.com/SebastianJ/harmony-restaker

It allows validators and delegators alike to automatically restake their earned rewards.
