    <p>We're excited to announce Rice's second-ever hackathon set for the weekend of <strong>February 8-10th</strong>! Build creative and useful apps by taking advantage of web services and developer tools offered by various websites. The contest is free form, meaning you can make any type of mobile, desktop, or web app you want. Participants will demonstrate their application to a panel of judges who will determine the winner based on UI, functionality, and utility.</p>
