H5P Page(Column) version 1.18 does not save user responses

Hello,

I have encountered a bug in Column 1.18 with the essay question type. The user’s text is not saved, preventing them from returning to it later. This functionality still works correctly in Column version 1.13.

This seems to affect also true/false-question in a column so that when you are using

• column version 1.18 & True/false version 1.8 saving does not work
• column version 1.13 & true/false version 1.6 saving works.

• Column 1.18
• Moodle Moodle 4.5.6 (Build: 20250811) & https://sandbox.moodledemo.net/ Moodle 5.0.2 (Build: 20250811)
• mod_h5pactivity | enablesavestate enabled

1. Steps to reproduce:
2. Create a page in the course content bank and select the essay question type.
3. Add an H5P activity to the course and link it as an alias from the content bank.
4. Open the H5P activity as a student, write some text, click Check, and then exit the activity.
5. Reopen the activity and notice that the previously entered text has disappeared.
