Failed to retrieve cases

I'm using the APIs to retrieve the data from testrail, and it gives this error:
Failed to retrieve cases: {"error":"API Rate Limit Exceeded - 500 per minute maximum allowed. Retry after 1 seconds."}

and then after while, it gives wrong data
