Synthesizing waveform that are not 10Khz directly, not through resampling 

Hi,

I would like to generate  waveform that are not 10Khz directly, not through resampling after generating a 10Khz waveform. 
It seems FS is only assosicated with the _get_int16at16K() function.  I tried calculating a value for resample_poly with respect to FS, the generated sound seems ok. But I'm not sure whether FS influence the synthesis procedure.
