Consider making some alarms on Sports application a warning #27745
Description
We sometimes see requests to the PA football API failing for short periods (e.g. around 18:30 on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 Jan 2025). It's not clear why these requests are failing, perhaps it's scheduled maintenance. The impact on users is low because we poll this API frequently and store the result in memory. However it does add noise to our alerting.
We should investigate reducing the significance of this kind of alarm, e.g. to flag these errors as warnings rather than triggering alarms.
