Friction in discuss-phase with multiple choice questions

This is happening to me often:

1. Claude/GSD asks me a question during discuss-phase.
2. None of the multiple choice answers fit, so I choose "let's chat about this".
3. Claude/GSD pauses for a few seconds.
4. The multiple choice answers all disappear. Not good!
5. I type in what I want to discuss.
6. Claude/GSD responds and immediately goes back to the multiple choice question format.
7. Start again at no. 2 above. Rinse and repeat.

Is this a bug? Or a feature request? Are there any existing solutions?

I seemed to have fixed this by passing the --text parameter to discuss-phase. I was under the impression that --text was some kind of "remote" feature. It turns off the multiple choice questions, though, and I'm much more productive.

@sethlivingston — thanks for following up. The --text flag disables AskUserQuestion and switches to plain-text prompts, which works better in some environments and personal workflows. Glad it resolved the friction.
