Layout Algorithm

I have a .csv data set of 4033 connections with appropriate format (Source,Target,Type).
Upon loading it everything appears cluttered (hairball-like).
I would like it for edges to be far apart from eachother unless they are connected.
Has this option been added? (I saw a similar issue 4 years ago but there was no solution back then)

There are various options you can play with by going to Layout -> Settings. If that doesn't get you what you want, you may need to employ a transform or alter your approach to change your graph in some way so that more structure is exposed; sometimes hairballs are just that.
