Issue with downloading sources in IntelliJ

In our JabRef build, we cannot fetch JavaFX sources:

I am not sure what the problem is from that small ⚠️ screenshot. I am quite sure it is unrelated to what this plugin is doing. At least I can't reproduce this in an example.

Do you have an error log you can share?

The issue I can still reproduce with an example is this one:
openjfx/javafx-gradle-plugin#164

You get the same problem without the javafx-gradle-plugin if you define the JavaFX variants in your build. Which you do, IIRC.

Here the download mechanism thinks it needs to make an os/arch decision. Although, in this case, it does not actually matter as the sources are always the same. If this is your issue, you can work around it by pinning all download Configurations that IDEA creates on the fly to one os/arch.

Sorry, I was assuming the button for source code downloading in IntelliJ was a common knowledge :)

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open JabRef main in IntelliJ
2. Open jabgui/src/main/java/org/jabref/gui/consistency/ConsistencyCheckAction.java
3. Ctrl+click on line 7: "Task"

No error shown in IntelliJ

Yes I was also able to reproduce the problem with the JabRef repo now. I think there are two problems:

• The one described above which you can fix with your PR
• You are also suffering from this problem (Find a way to provide all metadata from all module paths to the transformation – including transitive dependencies from apiElements #186). That seems to confuse IntelliJ. I can try to provide a PR to solve this in JabRef.

I found an issue I was not aware of that can cause the "same Jar transformed multiple times" effect when the mergeJar feature is also used. You added that to work around this problem: langchain4j/langchain4j#3668

I'll release the fix soon. I have Jabref working with it locally and the sources download works.
