Having the windows open for 10 minutes is not enough to restore CO2 level to baseline. A feature would be to allow the person opening the windows to choose to have them open longer.
Counting the number of presses on the open button and multiply by that would be easy for the operator to understand. But when the open button is pressed, that channel is kept bound to ground so further button presses would not register.
An alternative would be to press open, close and open again within a few seconds to signal that the windows should be open for longer.
If done, the max open time could temporary be set to double of the configured value. If configured to 10 minutes and the operator sends the signal, windows would be open for 20 minutes instead.
