Missing italian keycodes in data/keycodes

the mapping for keyboard layout in italian and other languages is missing

Actually, we are hoping for the community to contribute those keycodes files ;-)
You can use the evdev lib (https://github.com/gvalkov/python-evdev) to read the scancodes of hit keys on your keyboard.
