Question About Contributing Through Translation

I’d like to contribute by translating documentation. What would be the best way to do this?
Here are two possible approaches:

First, add the translated documents directly inside the docs folder.

Second, maintain a separate repository for the translated documents, then add a dedicated Translations section to the contribution menu and link to that repository.
