It seems that colonist.io made some changes in terms of chat messages which cause the extension to never "exit" the starting phase in which it listens for finishing of inital placements made. That causes the extension to never actually show up. In particular the chat message the programm is waiting for is "Giving out starting resources" - which was changed by colonist.io.
