But CT has worked previously .. this is a testing version .. see nearby discussions on feature to grab filepath top right toolbar. A new Action added for testing.

Describe the bug
Previously as a shortcut to creating a new CT (*.ctd) file I would go into Krusader and seed a file .. such as Test.ctd. Zero content. Then I would use Krusader to "open file with CherryTree". That ploy no longer works. It was faster than launching CT to create a new file since I use multiple *.ctd files on my desktop. And I create a *.ctd for each new project. All over my desktop. I will now inspect internal XML using XMLCopyEditor to validate XML.

I would be very surprised if https://www.giuspen.net/cherrytree/#testing (aka v1.6.2+17) introduced such regression on v1.6.2 as the changes are few and limited. If you help me reproduce I am happy to have a look at what changed.

The only clue I can offer is that I use XML Copy editor to validate XML including *.ctd file which are opened as XML automatically. Try it.

And the previous crude method I used was just to touch a new file then add *.ctd mime at end. then I would run it inon CherryTree and lo I could start using. But in recent days after I purged old CherryTree installations that trick does not work. I guesss I can uses a blank *.ctd file and clone it. But XML Copy editor is handy for XML validation.

I have dropped this workflow and now create new files using CherryTree rather than "touch" method of creating a blank file with no XML content.
