New developer starts Monday. Active projects. Tight deadlines. No time for a two-week "shadowing period."

How do you use GitScrum to get them productive without drowning them (or slowing down your existing team)?

What's your onboarding process?

First day in GitScrum: what do you show them first?
How do you structure tasks for someone learning the codebase?
Documentation in GitScrum vs. external wikis—what's your setup?
How long before they're taking real sprint tasks?

Common pitfalls to avoid:

Giving them "easy bugs" that are actually nightmare legacy code
Overloading with context they don't need yet
Assuming they'll "figure it out" without guidance

Agencies especially:

Onboarding a dev into an active client project—your 48-hour game plan?
