Example: Bug with Gitcoin Price Conversion #402

@blairmaclennan

Description

@blairmaclennan

The iExec team has been looking to launch bounties for a long time, with ongoing testing, the issue still continues.

Bug Description:

Funding bounties in RLC (ERC-20) tokens.
For example, we want to offer a reward in RLC to the equivalent of $1000
With today's price (23/06/21) this would equal around 335 RLC.
However, when setting up the bounty and inputting 335 RLC, Gitcoin shows only $165

To Reproduce:

Create bounty with ETH chain, set up reward, select denomination in RLC.
In the 'Amount field, enter 1 RLC,
The 'USD' field shows 0.49 USD (when the real price of RLC should be around $2 - $3 at current prices)

It is not clear what the cause is. Possibly an issue with the price feed GitCoin is using linked to the RLC token??

Expected behavior:

A similar price to the one found on Coinmarketcap should be used for RLC, otherwise, it is impossible for us to use GitCoin and fund in RLC tokens.

The iExec team have multiple bounties planned to run over the next few years, we are eager to get at least 10 of them published within the next week. A resolution to this bug as soon as possible would be much appreciated.
