Suggestions regarding appdatafolder

When tabox using appdatafolder, if the groups in local browser are mistakenly deleted and synchronized to Google Drive, it is not possible to use Google Drive's versioning feature to restore the previous group configuration.
Can an option be provided for users to decide where to store the backup file in a regular folder on Google Drive? Thanks.
