Just shows loading icon indefinitely

• I have searched the issues of this repository and believe that this is not a duplicate.

Expected Behavior

Seems like the app is broken, and I know it hasn't been worked on in a long time. But this was such a handy application. Drop in your files and voila, everything starts downloading. Is there any chance this could be updated to work again?

Current Behavior

Spinning loading icon in bottom right just keeps going indefinitely with no subtitles being downloaded. Searching for subtitles works fine and results pop up. As a random idea I launched the app as an administrator, but if I do that I can't even drag files into the app.

Steps to Reproduce (for bugs)

1. Open caption
2. Drag files in
3. Wait, nothing will happen
