Devices turn on unexpectedly

Hello,

When I turn my Beosound 1, my Beolab 50 turn on too.

I do not use the Join function, so I don’t understand what’s happening.

I also noticed that the source list of the device is extremely long, including the same sources several times (see pictures).

Can you help?

Weird bug. Can you remove the extra sources from your speaker configuration?

Other potential issue: It could be that the plugin got mixed up and combined the two devices.

Maybe you can delete and re-install the integration (for all speakers). If that doesn't work, turn on debug logging, and send the logs so we can look into it.

Here under the local sources set in the BS1.

As you can see, only a few sources are listed.

As a first step, I’ll delete the integration.

One thing that may be the cause is that both speakers share the sources to one another and the plugin doesn’t dedup them so the same source may turn on both speakers for some weird interaction

Hi,
I observed in the B&O app that when I launch a source on the BS1 in HA, the source is launched on my BS Core then sent to the BS1 through the Beolink function.

Note that I have a BS1, a BS Core and a NL/ML Converter found in the Beoplay intergration.

Today I:

• deleted all devices in the Beoplay integration,
• deleted the integration,
• unchecked the Beolink function in the BS1 settings,
• removed the primary and secondary devices in the BS1 settings,
• rebooted the BS1 and HA,
• reinstalled the Beoplay integration, added BS1 and ignored other devices.

With the same results as before.
So I turned back to the previous situation using my last backup.

Now when I launch the BS1, the additional sources have disappeared and the BL50s did not fire-up.
In the B&O app the BL multiroom tab does not show the Core as the master.

That’s a first step, I think that there is a mismatch between the sources when several products are present (not easy to know which is which as all sources have the same name)

But the source selection in the HA player is inactive…

I activated the logs, please tell me what you need.
