까눌레 핫플의 명성에 걸맞게 여덟 가지 맛의 까눌레가 쇼케이스에 전시되어 있다. 늦은 시간에
찾아가면 거의 품절이 돼서 제대로 맛볼 수도 없다고 한다. 다행히도 낮에 찾아가서 클래식,
얼그레이를 맛볼 수 있었다. 지금까지 먹었던 건 까눌레가 아니다. 진짜 까눌레는 이거다. 겉은
바삭하면서 속은 쫀쫀하고 담백한 맛이 예술이다. 칼로 컷팅했을 때 힘을 엄청 줘야 하거나 입안에서
씹을 때 뻑뻑한 까눌레가 아니다. 적당한 바삭함으로 딱딱하다 느끼지 못할 겉바속쫀의 쫀쫀한
식감이다. 얼그레이 까눌레는 얼그레이 크림이 가득해 촉촉함을 느낄 수 있다. 얼그레이의 은은한 맛과
향이 퍼진다. 만족스럽다. 얼그레이 까눌레만 먹으러 다시 오고 싶을 정도의 맛이다.

9호선 신논현역 4번 출구에서 나와 도보로 2분도 안 걸린다. 까눌레 하나만으로도 핫플이 된 곳이다.
까눌레뿐만 아니라 공간이 주는 무드도 한 몫하는 듯하다. 넓은 내부 공간과 푹신한 의자, 깔끔하게
배열된 좌석, 테이블이 편안함을 준다. 넓은 통창과 높은 층고로 답답한 느낌이 전혀 없다. 야외
테라스 자리도 있으니 지금 같은 봄 날씨에 딱이다. 포장도 굉장히 감각적으로 잘 해주셔서 선물하기에
아주 제격이다.
