Tmeter service failed to start. #3
Description
Hi,
TMeter 16.0.860 is failing to start on Windows 8.1 x64 (.NET 4.5) based system and is giving Error 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion when trying to start it manually from services.msc
On checking the service start with Procmon, it shows a lot of Buffer Overflows (not sure if the problem is because of this).
I have also attempted to increase the service reply wait time from registry but is is still failing with the same error.
Kindly suggest what can be done to rectify the same.
