session exited automatically

After installing the latest version over homebrew and also tested it with direct download from GitHub I got the following message:

The session ended automatically. I had no chance to do any command.
I have a m4 with macOS 26.1 installed.

I tested the last two versions with homebrew and also manual download.
What can cause this issue.

@emdotjay Thanks for reporting. I cannot seem to reproduce the issue... just to clarify, do you see that and then immediately the session stops? Or are you able to type commands after the emjay$ line?

@gerlero I see that verbose output immediately and it stops automatically. I have no time to execute any command. And it happen with any version.

My System:

• CPU: Apple M4
• Cores: 8
• RAM: 16 GB

What happens if you open a terminal and run:

source /Applications/OpenFOAM-v2412.app/Contents/Resources/etc/bashrc

?

@emdotjay sorry, I’m at a complete loss on what could be going on. I’ll leave the issue open in case I come up with some idea on what’s happening; let me know if you find any solution on your side!
