A place for cadastrapp ?

The datadir centralizes the configurations of the geOrchestra modules.
I think the Cadastrapp configuration could also be placed here (cadastrapp.properties).

This will make configuration with geOrchestra easier.

i'm all for it but see #23, #34, and #185, especially #185 (comment) - they were here at some point in master but removed in b947651 without justification ?

This also sounded like a neat option to me, at first.
But if we want geOrchestra to evolve into a versatile app platform, I think we cannot afford to host every possible plugin config into the main datadir.
This is also the option that @jeanpommier chose recently for the superset module.

Indeed, as geOrchestra grows with more and more applications and functionalities, we are going to face a challenge, that is to keep it reasonably lean and at the same time extensible.
Putting it all into the core of geOrchestra is taking the risk of making it a big "usine à gaz" confusing, bloated, hard to configure it for the first time users or first time deployments.
I'd rather suggest thinking of a way of plugging the extra functionalities. Which is actually quite easy I'd say.
Just, instead of shipping it all into the core, we can have separate repos that include everything necessary to install it. Including a datadir folder, that is ready to paste into your custom datadir.
That's indeed why I have done with Superset.

With that logic, a newcomer can just deploy geOrchestra core for starters (which already involves quite a lot of config to handle), and add new features 1 by 1 as they need for them.

I'd say it's particularly true for functionalities that are limited to a kind of platform. Cadastrapp is French only, and will not concern Research structures either, for instance.

Anyway, this is something we have to discuss at the community meeting (announcement to come soon on the ML)
