Option for MuseScore to also play midi files

Option, if only want to install one thing, to have MuseScore also play the midi file.
Con: shows the musical notation at the same time which might be intimidating
Pro: only one extra install needed, useful in schools etc

Given that WMP can play the midi files directly, do you think this is as useful or would it be best for such environments to just stick with playing through WMP (which I think is part of base windows)?
