is it possible to make http/https proxy supports "open api-key integration mode"?

i'm so glad to use vscode-chatgpt plugin during using vscode, it does make my coding with happiness
and i found that the http/https proxy only can be used during "browser integration" mode，
is it possible to make http/https proxy supports "open api-key integration mode"?

You can now overwrite the apiBaseUrl to use proxies on api key method.

Could you please elaborate a bit? How would changing the apiBaseUrl help to let all api calls to go through an http proxy server (instead using of using mirror site)?
