The `matrix` mode `unstop = true` conflicts with `luukvbaal/statuscol.nvim` under certain `setup` settings

Problem

With unstop=true, my SmoothCursor doesn't keep changing its current character on .lua files. It does work in the buffer of oil.nvim. (shown in the video below)

Expect Behaviour

The SmoothCursor should always be dancing in the sign column.

Unfortunately, I have been unable to reproduce it on my end. Could you please provide a minimal reproducible example for further investigation?

@gen740 My apologies. By isolating SmoothCursor.nvim in a minimal.lua repo indeed I cannot reproduce it too. After some testing, I found the conflicting plugin is statuscol.nvim. Now I got the same beautiful animated cursor as you demonstrated in README.md after disabling the plugin (with my custom setup too).

Now I will test if the problem can be eliminated by changing opts passing into the setup of luukvbaal/statuscol.nvim.

Edit: done, I have also created an issue there including minimal repo and details.

Expected Behaviour

The correct/normal behaviour of gen740/SmoothCursor.nvim using the above config, i.e. matrix.unstop = true, is shown in the Matrix Mode section of their README.md

The cursor from gen740/SmoothCursor.nvim stops animating when working with luukvbaal/statuscol.nvim
