Unable to Write to I2C Register Addresses 0x0D and 0x0E at Chip Address 0x17

I want to adjust the full voltage of my batteries down from a value of 0x10af (4271mV) to 0x1060 (4192mV) however whenever the write command completes, all read back of registers 0x0d and 0x0e show the original value of 0x10af.

The wiki indicates that these addresses are writable but I'm not seeing any indication that they are. I have included a screenshot of the results of trying to write to the register 0x0d.

To be able to set custom battery values, you need to first enable it:
Write 0x1 to 0x2A ((FW.V5+) Battery Parameters self-programmed by user)
then it should work.
