Self-signed certificates

Any idea how to get this to work with self-signed certificates?

I'm running into the following error:

Got it to work by monkey patching the handsoap curl driver:

class Handsoap::Http::Drivers::CurbDriver
  def get_curl(url)
      ...
      # disable ssl certificate verification
      @curl.ssl_verify_peer = false
      ...
  end
end

This is quite obviously not the way to go, but at least now I know what's causing the error.

Any suggestion how to configure this in your library?
