BioshockGraphicalUpgrade heavily lowers fps

I am on a 6700XT with Adrenalin 25.3.2. Windows 10 LTSC.

This addon lowers my FPS to an absurd degree. Noticeable even just in the menu and persists in-game.

That's strange FPS drop shouldn't be that high. Can you test without XeGTAO?

The FPS is very close to half of the FPS limit and half of the screen refresh rate, is it locked? Cause FPS limiting in this game had issue of exactly halving FPS of the desired lock. Also windows has issue where it could force vsync, half of refresh rate if FPS drops close to half. Both issues should be solved, but still could you test changing the FPS lock.

No difference. AccurateFPSLimiter as a limiter works fine for me in this game though, I've been using it in my current playthrough to avoid an issue with cutscenes.

If disabling XeGTAO changes nothing it most likely isn't performance issue at all.
FPS limiter probably works fine as it should.

My guess is that something is messing with the game being in borderless window. Maybe some setting in GPU driver control panel, or less likely Windows.

Here's build that doesn't upgrade swapchain in any way (the original addon does), so the game with this build should run in fullscreen exclusive. If you could test.

No change in performance. Still hovers around ~90.

If you already didn't, try enabling vsync in game, see could anything in graphics driver control panel interfere with the game in a negative way, try forcing vsync off in graphics driver control panel (not at the same time as trying to enable vsync in game, of course).
