Some feedback after testing grayjay for a few days.

Sync:

• Sync does not sync accounts, so i have to login on every device.
• Sync does not sync enabled plugins (like youtube, spotify, patreon)
• Settings are not synced what i could tell.

Playback:

• The default playback settings for youtube, does not work on linux flatpak, youtube, playback fails, need to disable all apple-thingies in the settings.
• "Add to queue" shouldnt start play the video (im making a queue here)
• With a queue, its not saved at all, anywhere if the app is reloaded, or something else happens
• With a queue, there is no skip to next video (i dont generally watch the end cuts, outros etc etc that isnt "the video")
• Many/most videos shows published "2024 years ago"
• Sponsorblock does not seem to work (its enabled), have not seen it skip any sponsors or other segments i enabled in the sponsorblock settings.
• Video title doesnt show on fullscreen, need to exit fullscreen to see the video title.

GUI:

• I have 4 monitors, the application main window opens in the "cross" between all windows (center on all displays put together)
• Youtube login window is to narrow, so it hides the channel name you need to select to finish login (popup needs to be wider)
• Linux flatpak on desktop has no filters to enable/disable sources, i have to go into sources to manually disable it, to "fiilter out" something on "home" tab. (android has quick buttons for sources on "home")
• Cannot hide certain videos from listing
• Cannot block channels from showing / be recommended
• There is a "pin" button on the video playback window, no description, and does not seem to work or do anything (what is it for?)
• the ^ and X button on the fullscreen and miniplayer needs little mode dropshadow or similar, because if there is a light picture, they "vanish" or are hard to see
• The V button isnt really clear what it actually do ("makes" a miniplayer of the video), it gives more thoughs it going to minimize / hide the video.

Spotify:

• Does not seem to have good support for stuff like podcasts, i get ads here.

Other thoughts:

• I have not seen any "shorts" listed (yet) and if its not being filtered out, i would like an option to remove all shorts

Anothing thing i noticed on the flatpak version.

There is NO feedback that i have actually clicked the buttons to queue or the "..." button, no visual queue, no message no nothing.

And no feedback that a video actually been added to my (local) queue to watch.
