Multiple site locations?

@funkydan2 For the params.map value in config.toml, is it possible to highlight multiple church locations rather than just one? How can I have multiple markers?

I'd be using this using OpenStreetMaps, and I'd want to highlight a region, but having at least two different locations in different cities? Thanks for your help!

At the moment this isn't possible.

Do you know much about how leaflet.js works with OSM? (I don't.) Is it possible at this line

to have multiple coordinates listed?

If it is, you could send in a PR where the latitude and longitude is an array.

That looks like it'd work and I think something similar is feasible with Google Maps. I'm not sure about mapbox.

It's not something I've got time to implement at the moment, but would be happy to merge a PR.

This is now somewhat fixed by #58 - at least for OpenStreetMaps. We need to do more work for it to work with Google Maps.

Thanks to @Jab2870, who's done the work to get this working in OpenStreetMaps. Based on his work, I've had a go at implementing this with Google Maps.

This is currently in its own branch (mutlilocs). Please have a look. I've got a suspicion the code will break OpenBox support...but that's not something I know anything about.

I've been thinking about this more. I think it feels redundant to set a single location in hugo.toml as well as having markdown files for multiple locations. Should we get rid of the location data in the config file and redo the theme so that it only expects location data to come from content\locations?

I would probably keep it for instances where there is only one location needed. In those circumstances, it probably doesn't make much sense to have a locations page and then pages for each location.

It's a good point and would add complexity for those with a single location.

I think my question is more about the map on the front page. Should it display multiple locations (if present)?
