Blender does not seem to be including the add-on after installation

I have tried adding the add-on on both Blender 2.9 and 2.8, and the add-on won't appear as an option in the sequencer view. Do you know if there is a solution to this?

I am also on a Mac

I have tried this on Blender 2.91, Blender 2.90, Blender 2.80, and Blender 2.82 and it is not showing the add-on in the sequencer at all... What is going on here.. First of all your guide is showing Blender 2.78.

I'm on Windows 10 pro 64-bit.
