Quick Search: Contacts Page vs Call History #16

In Contacts Page, The Quick Search works in such a way that when I start typing, it starts showing me the result on the page. I don't have to press CR key once I'm done.
However, in Call History Page, it's different. When I star typing, it starts Suggesting me the results in Dropdown Menu but doesn't show me any result. Once I'm done, I have to press CR key to get the results. Is this normal? I think both should be the same.
