STL clipping during reload

I am having problems with stls clipping as I rotate them, is there a way to manually set a larger bounding box?

Hi, thanks for getting back to me, after doing some testing, the issue appears to be to do with reloading the file with a larger bounding box.

1. create cube1.stl and cube5.stl, having side lengths 1 and 5
2. write cube1.stl to out.stl, for exampe using cat cube1.stl > out.stl
3. open out.stl with fstl
4. write cube5.stl to out.stl, as before, (copying the file to the location will not work, it must be written to the same file descriptor)
5. the larger cube will be significantly clipped, see below

If you manually reload the file, does it still get clipped?

Yes. Additionally I tried going from box(1) -> box(5) -> box(0.2) -> box(1), only box(5) had clipping, so it seems the clipping planes are set to the first stl loaded and are not recalculated at any point.

Well, in any case, thanks for reporting. Can you also provide your system info and what version of OpenGL you have?

I'm on Arch with OpenGL 4.6 (intel hd520 laptop), have you attempted to reproduce the issue?
