not working in angular 4

[Abenezer]

When working in angular 4 (4.3.1), outputs the following warning

./~/ng2-wizard/~/@angular/common/src/private_import_core.js
10:43-44 "export '__core_private__' (imported as 'r') was not found in '@angular/core'

and the runtime error about core_private not found. i know the reason is because the module uses angular 2.4 but does it means it will never work for angular 4 or can we do something about it.
