Explain and discuss assumptions more directly #4
Description
A number of people have mentioned that the assumptions seem arbitrary. While I think the approximately follow from the sections on available machine resources, failure mode considerations, and goals, the connection between them is left implied. Discussing them in more depth and directly connecting the logic would be helpful.
