support excluding some source files

It would be helpful to provide a way to exclude specific source files or patterns from compilation, either via CLI flag or project configuration. This is useful for drafts, temp, or any source file that should not produce output.

Thanks for your interest in the project! The pattern for doing this at the moment is to set a content directory, which will allow you to write drafts in other folders. But I agree that it would be good to have finer-grained ways of doing this. We will look to add such a mechanism in a future release.
