gwt-log release 3.3.1 prevents servlet from running on tomcat 6.0.24 #79

Does the issue occur in "quirks mode", "standards mode" or both? If you
don't know, does your HTML page contains a DOCTYPE declaration?

What steps will reproduce the problem? Please attach sample code if you

1. Use gwt-log 3.3.1 instead of 3.3.0 with a GWT 2.6 Application and deploy it
to an tomcat 6.0.24 running on CentOS 6.5
2. Servlet that uses gwt-log on server side won't start up
note: both in development mode as well as on an tomcat 6.0.39 running on my
Ubuntu 14.04 machine I don't see any issue
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Servlet functions just as it does with 3.3.0
Do you have a workaround?
use gwt-log 3.3.0 instead of 3.3.1
