Safari extension?

I love using Fontanello and was wondering if a Safari version is in the works or even technically viable. Safari is my primary browser and I’d love to use it there. I’d be happy to contribute towards the development in any way I can but am not sure where to begin as I’m not familiar with developing Safari extensions. So, if there are any resources you could point me to that could help me understand the necessary Safari frameworks, that’d be awesome as well.

Either way, thanks a lot for creating Fontanello. It’s one of my most used browser extensions :)

It's definitely viable to make a version for Safari on MacOS, but guess it would need to be re-worked for iOS. Apple has made it fairly easy to convert extensions built for Chrome/Firefox/Edge to also work in Safari. Made some quick tests and got what seems to be a working version for MacOS. Will need to do some more testing and also think about how it should be distributed.

Same here. Love Fontanello and it's one of the few reasons I still use Chromium-based browsers. Hope we can get a Safari version.
