Parsing minutes without colon

Entering something like "12:30-5:30-45" creates an error, because Time Calc thinks the "45" is an invalid time. This could be good, because you should have to be specific and write ":45" for minutes. But it could be bad, b/c writing "45" almost always means ":45." Is this an issue or not?
